Cory Ann Avants

Cory Ann was raised in Gastonia, NC where she was trained by her parents, Hank and Sharon Avants. She is a third-generation USPTA Certified Elite Professional with over 20 years of coaching experience. 

Cory Ann’s dedication to coaching and producing results for students of all levels, from beginner to elite, has made her one of the most sought-after coaches in the state. Her commitment to creating and personalizing tennis programs for players of all ages and levels is top-notch.

Given her own experiences of playing as a young child all the way to competing as a touring professional, she can truly connect and empathize with her students throughout their tennis journeys. Cory Ann is excited to meet all of our wonderful families and looks forward to sharing her coaching philosophy with the Charlotte Tennis Academy community.
